Methods of using the playing field to acquaint of children of early age with the artistic word

The article is devoted to the method of using the playing field, which was developed within the framework of an innovative educational project of All-Ukrainian level “Pedagogical conditions of personality formation and development in the early stages of ontogenesis” carried out during 2019-2021 in early age groups of preschool education. The main idea of the study was to identify the relationship between the peculiarities of formation and development of children of early age and the created conditions, to develop didactic and methodological support according to these conditions of the educational process in early age groups. The objectives of the study are to determine the conditions for promoting of formation and development of personality of children of early age, to develop appropriate scientific and methodological support of this process. Moreover, important attention was paid how to select and improve modern means of children’s education, training and development.
The purpose of the article was to present the method of using the playing field as one of the effective means of educational work with children of early age in terms of their acquaintance with the artistic word.
The term “playing field” refers to a universal and multifaceted method of creation (based on packing box, table or floor, covered with a cloth of the desired colour or scarf / stole / coloured cardboard of the required size) and filling (puppets, toys, objects, pictures or flat images, substitute objects, etc.), didactic space for development of joint activities of children with educators or under their guidance. The advantages of using the playing field are named. Folklore and literary works for children are characterized. Traditional and innovative means and methods of work with texts of groups of children of early age are presented. The characteristics of the method of using the playing field as a means of acquainting children with the artistic word, the principles of its implementation, the main ways of working with texts are presented.
