Periodization of musical and pedagogical education of Ukraine in the minds of the approach to European and light standards

Abstract

The article periodizes the music and pedagogical education of Ukraine in the second half of the XX – early XXI century in terms of approximation to European and world standards. Five periods of development of this phenomenon are identified and the content of each of them is characterized. Emphasis is placed on the main innovations characteristic of a certain stage of formation and development of music and pedagogical education on the way to the European educational space.

The second half of the XX – beginning of the XXI century is characterized by significant changes in music and educational processes that took place in Ukraine. The rapid development of political, social and economic spheres of life associated with the revival of industry, economy, improving the social living conditions of citizens has contributed to raising the level of education of young people.

The study of the domestic music education system in the second half of the XX – beginning of the XXI century made it possible to identify five periods of its development, which are associated with reform, restructuring, modernization, optimization and integration into the European educational society. Due to the introduction of new curricula and programs, improving the content of music education, developing new concepts aimed at professional development of future teachers of music and the formation of spiritual potential of young people significantly increased the level of training at music and pedagogical faculties of higher education.

The article emphasizes the dual specialties, disciplines of curricula, focuses on the creative connections of participants in the music-educational process with international scientific and cultural centers, student participation in international scientific-practical conferences, festivals, competitions. In this regard, the signing of international cooperation agreements, the creation of a single European educational space necessary for globalization, European integration and informatization of education.
