ETHICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH
The journal Art and Education requires authors to adhere to ethical principles in conducting research and to ensure the proper protection of the rights and interests of research participants.
Research involving human participants (including surveys, interviews, pedagogical experiments, observations, etc.) must comply with the following requirements:
- participation must be voluntary;
- authors must obtain informed consent from participants (in written or otherwise documented form);
- confidentiality and anonymity of personal data must be ensured;
- any form of pressure, discrimination, or harm to participants is strictly prohibited.
The manuscript must clearly state that the study was conducted in accordance with ethical principles.
Authors are required to comply with the legislation of Ukraine on personal data protection and to ensure the proper handling of personal information.
If the research required approval or a statement from an institutional ethics committee, this must be explicitly indicated in the manuscript.
Research involving animals or biological materials must be conducted in accordance with applicable legislation of Ukraine and ethical standards for the humane treatment of animals.
The editorial board reserves the right to request confirmation of compliance with ethical requirements (including copies of relevant approvals or ethics committee statements) at any stage of the manuscript review process.
In cases where access to research data is restricted for ethical or legal reasons, authors must clearly indicate this in the manuscript and provide justification for such restrictions.
