OPEN DATA POLICY

The journal “Art and Education” supports the principles of open science and encourages authors to ensure transparency and reproducibility of research results by providing access to research data.

Authors are encouraged to follow the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), which aim to ensure that research data are discoverable, accessible, compatible, and reusable.

Authors are encouraged to deposit research data in open national or international repositories (such as Zenodo, Figshare, or institutional repositories) that provide long-term preservation and assign persistent identifiers such as DOIs.

Authors should include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript indicating:

• where the data are stored;
• conditions of access;
• a DOI or other persistent identifier (if available).

If data cannot be made openly available (e.g., due to confidentiality, personal data protection, or copyright restrictions), authors must clearly state the reasons for restricted access.

The Editorial Board recommends citing datasets in the reference list, which contributes to research transparency and increases the visibility and citation of scientific outputs.

The availability of open research data is considered an important factor in enhancing the credibility, reproducibility, and scholarly value of research.
