AIMS AND SCOPE
Aim of the Journal
The aim of the journal is to advance scholarly discourse in the field of arts education, support high-quality research, and promote contemporary pedagogical practices that contribute to the modernization of the Ukrainian educational space and enhance the role of the arts in personal development.
Objectives
The journal pursues its aim through the following key objectives:
- Advancing theory and methodology of arts education: exploring contemporary approaches to teaching artistic disciplines and analyzing educational paradigms, models, and concepts in the context of societal transformations;
- Disseminating practice and innovation: systematizing and sharing effective pedagogical experience, as well as testing and promoting innovative methods and technologies in arts education;
- Providing scientific and methodological support for education: integrating research findings into the practice of educational institutions at various levels;
- Fostering interdisciplinary integration: examining the interaction of arts, education, culture, psychology, and social sciences in shaping the individual;
- Developing human capital through the arts: analyzing the role of arts education in fostering creativity, critical thinking, value orientations, and national identity;
- Interpreting cultural processes in the context of contemporary challenges: highlighting the role of arts and cultural practices during periods of societal transformation, including wartime, cultural heritage preservation, and the development of cultural resilience;
- Supporting professional development of educators: addressing challenges and prospects in the training and continuing professional development of specialists in arts education;
- Facilitating scholarly communication: providing a platform for dialogue between researchers and practitioners, and for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and pedagogical experience at both national and international levels.
Scope
The journal publishes original research articles in the following areas:
- arts education (theory and methodology of teaching the arts);
- art pedagogy;
- history of arts education;
- education through the arts;
- cultural and interdisciplinary studies in the fields of education and culture.

The journal is intended for researchers, academic staff, teachers of artistic disciplines, methodologists, higher education students, as well as professionals working at the intersection of education and the arts.
