COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
The journal “Art and Education” ensures the handling of complaints regarding potential violations of academic integrity and publication ethics in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (СОPE). The purpose of this procedure is to ensure objectivity, transparency, and trust in editorial decision-making.
To submit a complaint or suggestion, please send an email to the editorial office at artedu77@gmail.com
Complaints may relate to issues such as plagiarism, duplicate publication, data falsification, conflicts of interest, or other breaches of ethical standards. Complaints should be submitted in written form, clearly describing the issue and, where possible, supported by relevant evidence.
The Editorial Board considers only those submissions that provide sufficient information to assess the concern. Complainants are encouraged to provide contact details to enable communication; however, each case is evaluated based on its content and substantiation.
The review process involves a structured assessment of the complaint. Depending on the nature of the case, the Editorial Board:
- conducts a preliminary evaluation;
- contacts the authors or other involved parties for clarification;
- consults independent experts where necessary.
Confidentiality of all parties involved is maintained throughout the review process.
Complaints are reviewed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 calendar days. In more complex cases, the review period may be extended, and the complainant will be informed accordingly.
Following the review, the Editorial Board may decide to reject or request revision of the manuscript, issue corrections, publish a relevant notice, or retract the article.
The Editorial Board reserves the right not to consider complaints submitted in an inappropriate manner or repeated appeals that do not provide new evidence. Final decisions are made by the Editorial Board.
