Features of using QR-codes at art lessons in high school

The article presents using QR-codes in the educational process, in particular at art lessons of high school of general secondary education.
It is noted that the technologies of creation and recognition of QR-codes are elements of the mobile information-educational environment. The QR-code is considered as a miniature data carrier that encrypts certain information in the format of a graphic image, matrix code, and link to a site or a separate page. Programs for the development of QR-code, directions of use of QR-codes in the educational process are given: as an appendix to published text (coded tasks for students); as an appendix to the educational object (QR-code is placed on the object during the organization of the exhibition); as a making of a portfolio.
The possibilities of using mobile devices and QR-codes are outlined at different stages of the lesson: demonstration of visual aids with parallel commentary, conversation or discussion (using QR codes with links to multimedia sources and resources): acquaintance with individual works of different types or genres of art or whole series of these works, studying the artists’ work, perception of analysis and evaluation of works of fine art (the ability to obtain information using QR-code, conducting art research, virtual tours); self-checking tasks and conducting surveys (for self-checking, point to the appropriate QR-code number and check the answer). This allows educators to diversify learning and help high school students to carry out research in studying art.
The peculiarities of using QR-codes at different stages of art lesson in high school with examples of implementation during the lesson on the topic “In search of artistic expression” (9th grade) are revealed. It is noted that practical skills in coding and reading information with the help of QR-code increase the students’ artistic and aesthetic orientation towards independent artistic and creative projects.
