«Universe of Ukrainian singing» is an innovative project for art education

The article highlights the innovative project “Universe of Ukrainian Singing”, created in video format on the international presentation of Ukrainian singing by the author of the article. The project, which performs socio-cultural, educational, and communicative functions and involves volunteering, is presented in the format of a documentary film traveling around the world. This project shows the value of the Ukrainian song, which unites Ukrainians worldwide. The created videos concisely inform about the art events held in Ukrainian communities in 13 countries and give the audience the impression of a virtual song excursion. The author started a video blog on social networks under the hashtags #писеннаекскурсия and #писеннамандривка in order to promote the Ukrainian song in the world.
The content of the creative interaction of the author of the article with Ukrainian schools and musical groups of the Ukrainian community of different countries reveals the forms of preserving the traditions of Ukrainian singing in these communities, which have their specificity and depend on the peculiarities of national culture and traditions, are defined. It was concluded that national-oriented innovative projects are gaining more and more relevance in modern art education because they contribute to the nation's self-identification and the movement toward Ukraine’s victory over Russia.
The presented QR codes for the video materials of the project allow practitioners of art education to use the author’s developed materials during art lessons and in the training of students of higher art education, as well as during advanced training of art education specialists. It is emphasized that the study of the practical experience of the international presentation of Ukrainian singing in the space of art education will contribute to the formation of creative personalities with patriotic values and the desire to create a national culture. In addition, it allows us to create a circle of like-minded people and partners in the struggle to achieve victory in Ukraine.
