The way art projects are regulated and students' works implemented within the framework of such projects and in the course and diploma works are exemplified.
This article provides a detailed analysis of the Carpet Weaving course, presenting it as an integral system of knowledge that aims to shape a professional artist with a unique creative outlook. Notably, the article underscores the course's role in fostering patriotism among future artists, highlighting the content of educational tasks that contribute to this important aspect of their development.
The author of this article has developed and specified the role of the Carpet Weaving course, which is utilized by teachers at the Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. The course is instrumental in guiding artists of a new type, who are not only capable of preserving but also developing national cultural and artistic assets.
This role is particularly crucial in the ongoing struggle of the Ukrainian people for self-identity and independence.
The author emphasized that throughout time, art has dramatically influenced the propaganda of social ideas, reflects the stages and forms of social structure, and has been an influential factor in the development of society. In turn, art education forms spiritual, general cultural values of a personality and state approaches in professional activities. The education of an artist with a national and patriotic outlook is possible only when folk cultural sources and traditions make the basis for education, and folk art is a priority for the inspiration of future artists. The national identity of Ukrainian art education provides a scientific basis for training methods, continuity of folk traditions, and synthesis of didactic and educational principles when training specialists in decorative arts.
