Abstract

The issue of using art as a universal educational means for influencing the development of a child of 5-7 years has been actualized. The analysis of scientific researches of E. Belkina, V. Yezikeeva, N. Zubareva, L. Panteleeva, G. Sokhurukova, E. Florina, R. Chumichova and the traditional scientific approaches to familiarization children with art have been presented. The contradiction between traditional and non-traditional approaches to children’s art has been revealed. F. Barb-Gall’s model of children’s communication with art, which provide dialogue and indirect role of adults, has been analyzed. Based on the analysis of modern studies (K. Demchyk, O. Dronova, T. Zhitnik, V. Rahozina, O. Saprykina, N. Folomeeva, T. Fasolko, L. Shulha, etc.), the role of an adult has been defined as a leader of a child into the world of art.

The author’s opinion how to use art as an integrator for development of child’s personality, implemented through the method of structured creative improvisation has been proposed. This method is aimed at developing the ability to see and understand the beauty of nature and the environment through emotional perception. Moreover, comprehension by the child of the communicative function of art involves music, literature, games, cognitive tasks, etc., as well as activation of interest in various kinds of communication. The author determines the work with the core of an image as the most optimal method for working with children, which is not regulated by certain rules, and it involves centering on the source of the image.

The pedagogical conditions of optimization of the usage of the integrative function of art in kindergarten aimed at the special pedagogical stimulation of the child’s internal forces have been determined.
