Abstract

The issue of implementation of the content of communication line “Communication through Art” at Art lessons in schools has been updated. The definitions of concepts of communication and communicativeness, artistic communication in the researches have been defined. Communication functions in the educational process have been specified in the field of art lessons. In addition, the methods of implementing this content line in new Art textbooks for 1st grade have been analyzed.  The author concludes that there are tasks and games which promote artistic communication on the themes of art at various stages of lesson.

One of the options for achieving this goal is the use of rhythmic and communication activities that integrate rhythmic exercises, sound tapes of Bodi percussion. These activities are aimed at developing students’ musical abilities and establishing artistic. Rhythmic and communication activities are divided into several types (verbal and nonverbal; using musical (noise) instruments and without them, activities for musical accompaniment and without musical accompaniment). The author gives examples of rhythmic and communication activities with photo illustrations of symbols of audio gestures, scores for students’ performance, methodology how to work with them.
