Electronic textbook of “Art” in primary school

Abstract

The article presents the peculiarities of electronic textbook of “Art” at art lessons in primary schools of New Ukrainian School. The components of the electronic teaching aids and their functions have been described.

It was found out that the electronic textbook is an electronic educational edition, which presents systematically educational material according to educational program and contains digital objects of different formats. The electronic textbook has the following features: it provides students with a variety of visual, text, photo, digital, audio and video information, while performing the function of providing information, visualizing it, teaching skills through exercises and tasks, performing creative projects, controlling the level of knowledge through performance of tests, as well as an important informational and searching function that helps students to acquire the necessary information for it understanding.

The author’s shows examples of the electronic textbook of “Art” (2018) for 1^st grade (Publishing House of “Educational Book-Bogdan”) how to use the electronic textbook, helping the teacher in organizing a modern educational process to follow the purpose of art lessons and implementation of the main content lines: artistic and creative activity, perception and interpretation of works of art and communication through art.

The organization of integrated study of art in the first grade with the help of electronic teaching aids (electronic textbook) has been described. The author offers methodological recommendations for art teachers how to use certain elements of the electronic textbook for visualization, organization of artistic and creative activity of primary schoolchildren, perception and interpretation of works of art, implementation of communication through art.
