The article is devoted to the experience of charitable activity of the Mobile Theatre of “Levena” of Lviv Secondary School No. 50. Moreover, the content and practical significance of the theatre studio’s work have been presented. The purpose of the theatre studio is to teach students and carry out charitable activities in the following areas: promoting physical and psychological rehabilitation of the wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Joint Forces Operation (Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone), concerts in military units and financial assistance to children with cancer.
Based on analysis of the activity of theatre collective, the peculiarities of organization of the mobile theater, principles and directions of establishing its work, specifics of creation of theatre repertoire, which represents the original mix of the theatre of social themes, the grotesque political theater and the traditional Ukrainian street theatre, have been determined.
Art-pedagogical technology “Mobile School Theatre “Levenia” involves organizing the work of the theatrical troupe by the developed program of theatrical studio designed to optimize the formation of acting skills and development of students’ creative abilities as well as volunteer activities. In addition, there are unique psychological and pedagogical methods of working with the members of collective, who speak to the audience on unplanned stage venues – in shopping centers, on city streets, before wounded in hospitals and military units (in extreme conditions requiring the development of psychological skills of children-actors, which increase the stress level).
The article presents practical recommendations for teachers to create and operate a similar theatrical studio based on general education institutions and institutions of out-of-school education.
