Preparation of art teachers in not-formal education

The article deals with the essence of the concept of non-formal, informal, formal learning. Formal learning occurs in educational and training institutions, leading to recognised diplomas and qualifications; non-formal learning happens alongside the mainstream systems of education and training and does not typically lead to formalised certificates, non-formal learning may be provided in the workplace and through the activities of civil society organisations and groups; informal learning is a natural accompaniment to everyday life.
The main models of learning are identified as mixed, on-line, and off-line. The essence of the concept of “project of professional development” is defined. The “Toloka” professional development project and the content of all its stages are described. The concept of the event in the framework of “Toloka” professional development project: “Toloka of artists and educators: From the plan to the result”. The method is to establish interdisciplinary communication between art workers and educators of the field of art education.
Development of the “Toloka” project is aimed at creative interdisciplinary cooperation of experts among professional artists and teachers of the artistic disciplines of educational institutions in Ukraine. The “Toloka” project is a response to challenges of the information society. The low level of education in artistic disciplines in educational institutions leads to a decrease in the general level of culture in the country, levelling values out during the process of recognition of art and creative self-expression, loss of respect for national and artistic heritage, low level of cultural development and other key competencies.
