Distance courses “Methodology of teaching art in primary school based on principles of the New Ukrainian School” as a means of professional self-development of an art teacher

The features of organization of the distance learning for teachers based on the New Ukrainian School as a new means of professional self-development of the modern art teacher are highlighted. The components of professional self-development of art teachers, developed in the process of distance learning of teachers, are mentioned. The distance learning course allows increasing the level of professional competence and self-development in the field of art teaching methods for primary school students based on the latest digital technologies and digital tools. The structure and content of modular training of teachers based on the Google Classroom service is described. The effective forms and technologies of training are described. The importance of practical tasks based on Google Documents with public access, online services for work with sound and video, online interactive whiteboard Padlet and watching video lectures and video instructions tools by YouTube live broadcasts for professional self-development of art teachers, is described. The experience of mastering rules how to use electronic learning tools at art lessons is described: electronic textbook, electronic notebooks and albums, interactive manuals. Digital technologies, tools and resources are indicated. The capabilities of Google applications to exchange participants’ experience in distance learning course are described. Google applications that can be used for art teaching are described. The achievements of the distance learning course are created by means of Padlet interactive whiteboard tools, online services to work with sound and video, Google applications for collaborative learning and interaction. The ways how to improve distance and blended learning based on the New Ukrainian School for primary school teachers, are indicated.
