Abstract

The problem of preparing students for the specialties of “Primary Education” of pedagogical universities is actualized as the preparation of future teachers of primary school for artistic training of children of primary school. In the process of artistic training of primary schoolchildren, teacher and children work together in creating cartoons. It involves creating student’s own creative artistic works (cartoons) at the stage of studying at universities.

Based on disclosure of the essence of animation, the definition of animated pedagogy as a branch of pedagogical science is defined. The subject of animated pedagogy is the study of animation as a means of artistic and creative complex personal development which studies the features of perception, understanding, and evaluation of animated works, as well as enriches the creative experience in the process of creating cartoons independently. The examples of creating cartoons with different educational purposes are given. The stages of creating cartoons by future primary school teachers: the choice of topics and plotting, character development, storyboarding, filming, editing and presentation of creative works are described. Each stage solves certain tasks of artistic education for both future primary school teachers and primary schoolchildren.

The pedagogical potential of animation and its possibilities in art education of primary schoolchildren is revealed. The specified forms of works on acquaintance of primary schoolchildren with paintings of artists using cartoons: animating the picture, inventing a plot based on the artist’s painting. The productive form of work is the illustration of children’s songs.
