Українське портретне малярство XVI-XVIII століть у контексті європейських мистецьких течій

У статті розглядається українське світське портретне малярство XVI-XVIII століть як важливий культурний пласт у національній історії України, закарбований у вцілілих мистецьких творах означеного періоду. Формування і розвиток українського світського портретного малярства у період ХVІ-ХVІІІ ст. розглядається авторами у контексті європейських мистецьких течій. Наголошується на ідеологічно-філософських відмінностях світських західно-європейських портретів від українських цього ж історичного періоду. Виокремлено змістове наповнення термінів: портрет, контерфект, парсуна.
